Gallery wrapped on a 1.5” deep stretcher bar with painted edges.
This painting is the first piece in the upcoming collection - „The Quiet Truce”.
Where a quiet walk becomes a feeling, and a feeling becomes a painting.
This piece was born from a single day and many years of emotion.
One morning, a red fox passed through my backyard. Later, while walking the trails at my favorite park, I came across a mallard resting peacefully at the water’s edge. The water was calm, still, and almost dreamlike.
In that moment, I thought, If that fox were here right now, this entire scene could change in an instant.
As I stood there watching that stillness, I realized that I, too, was moving through a major change in my life.
I don’t paint only what I see. I paint what I feel.
I wanted to capture the moment just before everything changes—when nature seems to hold its breath. The fox has noticed its prey. The duck rests, unaware. The outcome remains unknown.
I find it. I feel it. And then I paint it.
